The AWEA is a dynamic business focused community comprising hundreds of restaurateurs, hoteliers, galleries, retailers and property owners along with significant business, tourism, arts, educational and community organisations who all call Adelaide’s West End home.
 
The precinct neighbourhood is anchored by North Terrace, King William Street and West Tce, within which lay iconic, tourism, entertainment and business thoroughfares including Hindley, Pirie & Waymouth Streets as well as a network of enthralling lane ways and landmark destinations from the West Riverbank and Lion Arts to Light Square.
 
Through our range of membership options AWEA bring together local landlords, business owners, community leaders, as well as the people who live, work and study in the West End to collaborate and address issues that affect the local economy and community. We work to serve our members by advocating for policies that drive local economic growth, attract new investment and through supporting opportunities to co-create vibrant community and event initiatives. 
 
In addition to promoting economic growth and visitation, precinct business groups also play an important role in addressing community concerns and issues. By bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders, AWEA works to address issues such as safety, cleanliness, and infrastructure improvements, which are crucial to attracting and retaining businesses, residents and visitors.
 
AWEA belive building strong community ties fosters a sense of pride in what makes the West End such a unique end of Adelaide. Together, we represent a vast network of businesses and land owners as well as tens of thousands of employees, students and residents who all stand to benefit from the work of AWEA and play a role in embracing and enriching the precincts character and next chapter.
