A new brewhouse, bar and kitchen, Lady Burra is one of a kind as the first and only Adelaide inner-city (micro) brewery. Also extending to a bar and restaurant, the new venture features house-made American pale ale and dark ale, as well as an Irish red beer and Pilsner – beers to suit all tastes, making up their staple range of brews, while also featuring a range of experimental brews. Food is predominantly locally sourced, with a heavy focus on South Australian produce
A deck extends out into the adjacent laneway looked over by a huge mural of “Lady Burra”. “We’re trying to create a bit of mystery behind her story,” Miguel says.
The brewhouse is at the base of an office tower on the corner of Currie St and Topham Mall, and has been fitted out with a mix of raw timber (including beams from the Wallaroo jetty) and more industrial metal scaffolding.
