A film festival like no other, The Adelaide International Youth Film Festival’s focus is on cultural exchange, discussions about the films and uplifting themes to engage youth audiences beyond entertainment. Celebrating its inaugural year, the Adelaide International Youth Film Festival (AIYFF) unleashes its full program with an eclectic line-up of more than 90 films representing over 20 countries. Public tickets are now on sale via Eventbrite: Search for AIYFF The festival opens on Wednesday 27 September at 10.00am with a jam-packed blue carpet event featuring dynamic and exciting performances from some of Adelaide’s finest performance groups. The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Hease will officially open the festival with the cutting of a red ribbon. Coinciding with the theme Uplift, the AIYFF program has been specifically curated for three age group tiers, 5-13, 13-18 and 18+. With the plethora of short and feature films on offer at the AIYFF across animation, live-action and documentary, there is sure to be something for everyone. Workshops will also be offered by AIYFF across the following experiences, Special Effects Makeup, Live Green Screen, Animation and a Virtual Reality booth with the HTC Vive.
