As more residents move into the City of Adelaide, so do more furry friends and we are running an event that is a bit of fun, family friendly and celebrates life in the city. Our theme will be around responsible dog ownership.

We have included live music from dog friendly, local musicians (Adelaide is a UNESCO City of Music), comedians, have market stalls, food and drink, some dog and owner competitions, education, demos, + activities for children. All activities will be dependent on funding. The event will have a licensed area  and we encourage you to bring along a picnic blanket and enjoy the atmosphere. If you want to come along or be involved our criterion is that you #mustlovedogs.

The event is supported by Splash Adelaide and Renewal SA’s CityMaker Grants and is part of Neighbour Day week. We will be working with WEVA (The West End Village Assocition) and UNO to present this event for locals and visitors .

We already have a a number of generous sponsors and partners (and we are keen for more) :

We are open to event  suggestions, partnerships and support,  so if you want to be involved  please email houndwave@gmail.com  and we will respond as soon as possible. keep dogs on leads

Note: In the interests of safety, dogs must be on a leash at all times during this event and cat’s are not allowed (apologies to all cat lovers!)
