As part of ongoing cleaning maintenance of the West End Public Realm, Adelaide City Council staff are undertaking “special deep cleaning of footpaths” cleaning maintenance works on Hindley Street from King William Street to Morphett Street (both sides of the footpaths).
The works have commenced on 1st June 2015 and are anticipated to continue to 30th June 2015, or prior to this date if works are completed earlier.
Please note that cleaning team will commence from 2 am to 6.30 am between Monday to Friday.
The scope of cleaning works includes high pressure cleaning wash of footpaths, alcoves and detail cleaning around posts, bins, tables etc. and the removal of all gum, stickers and graffiti as it is noted.
There are instances, for accessibility and safety of our employees and the public, which prohibits us to enter after 7 am to undertake this special cleaning.
Every endeavour for reasonable and practicable measures is taken to minimise noise resulting from this activity.
Adelaide City Council apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
